# Channel Connector Terms (WhatsApp / Instagram)

## 1. Purpose

Lets the **studio** connect **Meta** accounts (WhatsApp Business Cloud API, Instagram messaging) to IC Studio; tokens stored encrypted at `api.inkconscius.eu`.

## 2. Roles

- **Studio** is controller toward its clients and must comply with Meta and GDPR.  
- **InkConscious** provides technical infrastructure (webhooks, send, storage) as processor.

## 3. Studio authorization

The studio confirms it may connect the number/page, will configure webhooks/tokens correctly, and will not use the connector for spam or Meta-prohibited uses.

## 4. Webhooks

InkConscious domain URLs receive Meta events. Studio maintains verify tokens and app secrets per setup docs.

## 5. Known limitations

- WhatsApp Cloud API does **not** expose end-user profile photos (Meta limitation).  
- **24-hour** messaging window and templates: Meta rules, not InkConscious.  
- Meta API changes or outages may affect service without compensation.

## 6. Revocation

Studio may disconnect in app. We may disable connectors for legal risk or breach.

## 7. Liability

InkConscious is not party to the contract between studio and end-customer.
